And here we are, ladies and gentlemen! The first episode of the spinoff you’ve all been waiting for! And perfect timing, cause Ramenman’s about to get his time in the spotlight in the main series; now you get to know his background! Or his alternate version anyway. Not a fan of Kinnikuman? First off, you should be. Second, this spinoff is a lot more reminiscent of Hokuto no Ken or Otokojuku, so if you liked those, this should be right up your alley!

It was a nice watch. I enjoyed it. Dunno what people expected, but i didn’t expect anything and it turned out great. The animation is more fluid/lively, the music is retro (which i like), it even has violence. Something i didn’t expect to see. And this anime takes fighting styles and especially the signs that appear on the screen ala Hokuto to a new level i think.
It’s like a mix between Hokuto and DragonBall i guess? I wondered about Ramenman’s head, but it turns out that that’s how he looks. It’s not like he was born out of an egg or something…
Guess Ramenman in Kinnikuman’s anime is so cruel because of the Japanese-Chinese war… Look at how humble and fluent he is in China…
@Drugster: I know. We’ve had it happen before, some douche called qwerty “painstakingly” ripped our subs for Kenshiro Den, released it with the raw without giving us credit (or including our names anywhere), and acted like he was doing everyone a favor. I know it’s possible, but softsubbing makes it that much easier to steal.
@TheOrgg: I thought it was amazing. What didn’t you like about it? Please, tell me more.
All i’m saying is that going to Japan probably makes you go crazy! Like turning nazi into noodles!

So for i love the show. Another manly show i just didnt wish that bastard brat didnt follow him.
I guess I was expecting something less “Fist of the North Star” and more Kinnikuman.
The episode was very serious and mostly deadpan.
I’ll stay with it– it’s fairly short, and I want to see the fabled “X-2 Goalie” character that inspired the furor in the MUSCLE community about ten years ago (that turned out to be a Ramenman keshi).
I’ve tried downloading this from RS at least 10 times, and it always craps out on me, sometimes when it’s like 80% complete.

I had the same downoading problem of josh using chrome. Solved using e explorer.
