Because we decided it best and easier to redo the first four chapters in the good ol’ SnK/HnK fonts, while making quite a few corrections in those same chapters as well. So don’t delay, download the volume if you want to have the consistent and corrected definitive version.

It wasn’t just you, doc, we decided we didn’t like all the different fonts in the version 1. They made it hard to read.
Oh and by the way, how many volumes long is this version of it? Manga helpers only lists the original release as 18 volumes. But this one has more chapters per book right?
There are 18 volumes in the tankobon edition, but 15 volumes in the kanzenban edition, which is what we’re scanning off of.
