      Finally!

This chapter should be named Heihachi vs the Blonde Golgo 13 and, by Crom, it was epic as hell.

      Good job, Hokuto Gunners.

      thx

Excellent stuff. This chapter reminded me of the one thing that bothers me about this series, even though I love it: In Sakigake, Edajima seems to be old enough to be everybody’s dad, at the very least. So what’s up with the actual “Dads” in Edajima Den being older than him? Or am I just overthinking it?

    5. enterokinase says:

Thanks! Nothing beats reading Edajima while listening to Rush!

Two of the things that i didn’t like about Sakigake:

      1. 15-16 year old students who not only look like they’re in their 30s and on steroids, but also the fact that #cough, Momo, cough# most of them know those ridicilous fighting techniques that usually take one’s whole life to master…

      2. The messed up fighting styles… Everyone on Otokojuku’s side knows Chinese kung-fu, the Egyptian guys know Roman fighting style, The Olympus guys know some other kempo, which makes no sense…

K Battler looks way different in SO as far as i remember… He had an afro hair and some long sideburns? I don’t see the fact that Togashi’s and J’s fathers are older than Edajima being a contradiction.

    7. SystematicChaos says:

Why so serious? It’s Miyashita; he’s completely batshit insane, and that’s why we love him.

    8. Gegegeno... says:

What he said… One should really not pay attention to the weirdness of Miyashita, but rather go with it. SO is all about manly men with bizarre kempos.
