HnK Raoh Den: Junai no Shou (Anime Movie)

LoverOfHokuto(Avatar)Here’s the HnK Raoh Den: Junai no Shou Anime:

AVI MU | MKV MU | AVI & MKV Torrent

    MERRY 90 HIT HOKUTO-COMBO CHRISTMAS!
Yes ladies and gents, it’s finally here! We have finally completed our last Den project, which consequently was the first. Think about it grasshopper and it will all make sense. Anyways, we hope you enjoy your Christmas gift and we recommend you sit back and enjoy the show over some roasted chestnuts on an open fire!

I’d also like to say a huge thank you first and foremost to SystemticChaos for going over my translation with a fine-tooth comb (i.e. major translation check), improving it, triple checking it, and then making a kick ass encode to boot! I’d also like to thank Makoto for helping me fix things up with the initial translation check, and DaiKenOH for providing the raws.

Enjoy, Viva, and Merry Christmas Everybody!

EDIT: It has been pointed out to us that our release of Raoh Den: Jun’ai no Sho was not the director’s cut, as we had been led to believe (thanks to Bellum for catching that). So if anyone has the DVD of the actual director’s cut, please let us know!

Don’t forget to scroll down for Karate Bu and Shutendoji!

We urgently need a team of Typesetters, and a Re-Timer (Re-timing the French script to the Japanese) for Bobobobo if you want to see this release speed up. If not, then you’ll just have to wait, be patient and not say a word.

I completely forgot about this. Thanks for this gift. Merry Christmas everyone.

    2. moboto222 says:

Best gift I can ever had from HnG! Tnx guys :-)

    3. kuja-trance says:

Merry Christmas guys, you really are the best. Godlike combos for manly releases. By the way, in terms of quality how is this compared to the HoM release ? Of course I will download it and have both, but I’d like to hear your opinion as well.

    4. tare9 says:

Thanjs HNG for this HNG X’mas present!! Yep, it’s a big surprise, just like the others (SNK anime and Otokojuku Movie), you have finsished another project on Christmas ;D
Personnaly, check the others Dens released by HNG, and compare the translations and quality, the version of HNG it’s better both quality and subtitles, I’m not offending HOM :) Coz’ HOM has an old xvid codec…

    5. Angel says:

Just when everyone forgot. Bam! Right over the head with a sack of gifts Raoh-Den shows up! :D what a surprise.

    6. ZodWriter says:

Well for this particular release i personally think HoM did a better and higher quality encode. The video quality on the HnG version looks washed out and grainy by comparison. The translations are similar so I would say it’s just a matter of taste when choosing which version to watch. All the rest of the releases favor HnG by a mile. :) Merry Christmas! Thanks again for the release!

    7. Sun182 says:

I wonder what that “DC” means – directors cut? If so, then what’s the difference between DC and the regular version?

    8. SystematicChaos says:

Yes, DC means director’s cut… and I’m honestly not too sure what the difference is.

    9. SystematicChaos says:

ZodWriter: I assume you know enough Japanese to comment on the quality of the translations? And I’d love to see photo evidence that our encode is granier than HoM’s

    10. DarkGuyver says:

Thanks for uploading this guys. HnG has truely done a fantastic job on the Den movies and OVAs. I hope you all had a very merry Christmas!

    11. GouNoKen says:

Thanks a lot for this kick-ass release! You guys are as always great. Hope for your continued sucess in future anime releases.

    12. Corey says:

Thanks for releasing this, I was just thinking of rewatching this series.
Do you have any plans to translate the Fist of the North Star specials that accompanied the movies such as Raoh Side Story, Raoh`s Funeral and Soul Wedding?

    13. Viking says:

Did anyone find out what the difference was?
Besides Souther keeps his shirt on, but i guess thats an old DC.

    14. DarkGuyver says:

Yeah, I’ve just finished watching it and I’ve noticed that some of the character animations in HnG’s encode is different from HoM’s encode. The most noticable ones are of Kenshiro when he leaves to with Bart to fight Souther, and when Kenshiro is fighting Souther. Also some of Raoh’s men at the banqent table prior to the fake assassination attempt by Souga.

    15. Viking says:

Better animations in the Souther fight?
Why, almost makes me want celebrate holidays. Like Hokutomas.

    16. loverofhokuto says:

Sun182 & Viking: The difference is there were two versions that were released on the internet. The first version was the theatrical release that had some badly animated bits and slightly less run time. The second was the DVD release that was dubbed The Director’s Cut since they redrew the bad animation bits, added slightly more blood, and a few seconds more run time.

    17. Bellum says:

Don’t want to sound ungrateful but… this is not the Director’s Cut version of Junai no Sho, it is the original theatrical release with the badly animated bits. :/

      Proof:
      17:00 silly Kenshirou face
1:23:41 Toki’s hair is not animated

    18. loverofhokuto says:

@Bellum: Dammit, you’re right! We were led to believe that our raw provider gave us the Director’s Cut DVD, so we missed it. Thanks for catching it and we will definitely remedy this and make another encode with the real direcot’s cut this time.
