Well, it’s been a long road, and we’ve taken quite a few twists and turns to get here. And quite frankly, so has this anime. But for all the non-canon superfluous stuff they’ve thrown in here (thankfully not as much as Godmars), surely they wouldn’t go so far as to undermine one of Yokoyama’s most iconic endings, now would they?
