And our hero’s back for one last ride! Now, while we’re going right from volume 11 into volume 12, volume 11 was published in 1973, while this volume came out in 1995, a full 22 years later. Which would explain the, how shall we say, tonal shift in this chapter.

This was written around the same time, Yokoyama just didn’t like the final arc, which is why he retconned it with My Name is 101
