A shocking gore fest to many, I must comment, but in the other hand a rich narrative about a man against a world gone mad in its religious corruption.
Regarding the anti-sodomy method displayed on this volume, recently found scrolls at the Dead Sea tells us about an ancient martial art from Greece where men were taught to fell raging bulls by delivering two precise punches. Using the left hand, they would crush the bulls genitalia, causing not just inmense pain but also temporary paralysis, leaving the bull open for a powerful strike at its skull using the right hand. Needless to say, this ancient technique was later adapted for both Romans and Asians to save their derriere more than once, especially when taken prisoners.
