Ashita no Joe episode 60 (Anime)

Here’s episode 60 of the Ashita no Joe anime!

    AVI FC | MKV FC
    AVI Torrent | MKV Torrent

    663-HIT COMBO!
Well, here’s a little more of Joe digging himself deeper and deeper into his own grave without knowing it! Watch and cringe at every mistake Joe makes here! Oh, and I know Saizen released it a few days ago. I waited till today cause life happened. And as you may have read on Saizen’s site, we’re going to drop this project after we release 19 more episodes, then move straight on to the sequel. If you don’t like it, read that sentence a little closer.

Saizen themselves in their damn episode descriptions state Miyuki is a pedo show, don’t really see what about me basically quoting them merits taking the vowels out of my post.

Or did you guys get miffed because I called 1 episode in 2 months a slow release schedule?

Perhaps that you didn’t read our rules.

Yeah, you really consider someone asking if you’ll be releasing more of a series again after having a massive hiatus weird?
This is not about whining at you to make more episodes, just want to know if you’ll be going back to your more regular release schedule or this means we’ll get 6 episodes a year? For instance because you guys have different priorities at the moment, you’re currently short a person on the typesetting or translation team or whatever.

My main interests on this site are Hokuto no Ken related materials, where practically everything of note has already been translated, Bobobo, which seems to be in hiatus/cancelled limbo and Ashita no Joe, I usually check this site several times a week for Ashita no Joe, because you guys had some pretty quick release schedules a couple months back for it, if you guys are too busy with something else to do much more AnJ, I need to stop checking it this often.

Fair enough. Here’s the thing. Aside from myself and Spirit, Saizen makes up the entire team working on AnJ. That means we at HnG have absolutely no control over when AnJ is released, and we often don’t get communication from Saizen about it. I’m about 10 episodes ahead in the translation, but that’s only the first step. So I can’t give you any information on this. If you want info, ask Saizen.

Cheers, that’t exactly what I wanted to know.
Fantastic you’re ahead so far, just wish you guys did the rest of the project too, those guys at Saizen have some really strange priorities.
Also forgot to mention Otokojuku in my previous post, but sadly enough it doesn’t seem like there will be anymore anime related to that either (altough, if Gatchaman can do it…).

Was probably a bit aggressive in my initial post, you guys release so many other things consistently I got a bit frustrated, but clearly you guys have nothing to do with the hiatus.
Thanks for all the hard work.

I guess long posts and replying doesn’t work well.

    4. AdyShearer says:

Since you guys are so far ahead, from what I read, AnJ 2 overlaps with 1 at around the 55-56 episode, is it true?
That is, if you if you’ve seen AnJ 2.

    5. The Speedwagon Foundation says:

From having downloaded the first episode of AnJ 2, I can say it takes place after the Tiger Ozaki match, so at episode 60 it hasn’t caught up yet.
