    606-HIT COMBO!
Okay, when did the antagonists of this series go from being “rival that Joe’s training to defeat” to “evil council with a conspiracy to destroy Joe”? Not that I’m complaining; evil conspiracies all around!

Actually, this is aint much of a surprise. I have a relative in the boxing business and he has told me several stories of promoters plotting against other boxers.

      Anyhow, congratz on another knockout.

lol , I don’t know why, but I didn’t lose my hope to see the revived Rikiishi again ^^

And thanks for the good work guys :)

Revived Rikiishi? His end was fitting, wonderfully done and we’re still working through all the character changes Joe has undergone because of it, the writer has showed too much good judgement in the past for me to reasonably believe he’ll do something as hackneyed as making Rikiishi’s death a fake out.
To be honest the only things in this serie I would call bad judgement in this series is the early on towel rape scene and the “comedic” children, ofcourse they fullfill their purpose, the series would be far too dark without them most likely, but they try to compensate way too hard most of the time.

Antagonists? The characters in this show aren’t that simple. I disagree with this post. Ever since the episode since Joe gets out of jail, they clearly show that boxing commission wanted nothing to do with him. He’s always been considered a pariah. They thought if they ignored him, he’d go away. It makes sense that after making his way to the top, they want to take him down. Especially when he is KO’ing their fighters and costing them money.

Also what Destroyer Ring said is spot on too. Anyway, I hope we see more of this series translated sometime soon in the future.
