Genshi Shonen Ryu episode 22 & Complete Torrent (Anime)

Here’s the final episode of the Genshi Shonen Ryu anime!

    AVI MU | MKV MU
AVI Batch Torrent | MKV Batch Torrent

It’s over! It’s finally over! Enjoy this touching conclusion to the Monkey Pelvic Thrusts!

This project started back with our lost translator Seven Stars. It was one of his childhood favorites, and hardly known to the English-speaking world. He decided to start translating it. Things started getting official when gounoken got wind of this project. Having watched the Swedish dub, he was a major fanboy of this series, and began begging for the series. LoverofHokuto, SpiritofHokuto20xx, and I got roped in as QC, timer, and translation checker/encoder, respectively.

When Seven Stars quit, LoverofHokuto asked gounoken to step in, translating from the Swedish dubs, and providing us with the DVD raws. However, gounoken was a very slow worker and his translations were sub-par and difficult to check, LoverofHokuto was having stress from his work and a million Hokuto projects, and SpiritofHokuto also had Otokojuku to work on. Eager to get this project over with, I said “Screw it, I’m taking over.” I became the main translator, and recruited KamenRiderOga and christop17 as timer and QC, respectively. This sped up our release time, and it’s been all downhill from there.

So what’s next for HnG? Well, we’re working on Jun’ai no Sho and it’ll be done soon. We’ll also be getting DD Hokuto no Ken done as soon as we can. On our non-Hokuto side, we’ll be finishing up the Chojin Olympics saga of Kinnikuman, then focusing on Osu!! Karate Bu and Bo-bobo, plus we’ll be starting on our collaboration with Saizen on Ashita no Joe. On our manga side, we’ll be finishing Juuza Gaiden and barreling on down SnK and Rei Gaiden. I’m sure all of you fans, no matter what you’re here for, will be excited by our upcoming line-up of releases!

Saizen and Hokuto no Gun are looking for J->E translators for Ashita no Joe!

Just wanted to ask. You mentioned earlier(http://hokutoarmy.wordpress.com/2010/11/24/new-projects-now-recruiting/) about new projects – Emblem Take 2 and Aah Harimanada. As I didn’t see them in next for HnG I wonder will you do them. Thanks in advance.

    3. SystematicChaos says:

We don’t have the raws to those yet. I’m going to pick them up in late May or early June. And we can’t start without them.

    4. nrl_quaker says:

Glad to hear they are not cancelled. Gl with your projects.

    5. Salvatore says:

Thank you guys so much. This has to be one of the best old school series I’ve seen. I wish more groups could commit to the hard work you guys do.

      Thanks again.

    6. Genshi Shonen Ryu says:

      You guys did it again!

      Love this group!

      I think there’s a Genshi Shonen Ryu manga…

Does the saga continue beyond this??? Or is the anime pretty much all inclusive?

      Long Live HNG!!!

    9. Very nice job guys and a special thanks to SC for talking this project on, translating it, encoding it, and managing it to the end. Thanks to him, HnG is proud to boast that it still hasn’t dropped a project it started.

      Excellent, excellent job guys!!
I’ve waited many years for the chance to see this show subbed in English for all to enjoy, and what a spectacular job you have all done!!

Huge props to everybody that rescued this show from oblivion and especially to SystematicChaos for taking the project on after the untimely resignation of Mr. Seven Stars.

You guys all deserve a medal! Thank you!!

    21. GouNoKen says:

All of us who likes/worship this anime/manga should bow our heads in awe to HnG. They have truly done something amazing here: taking this obscure show up to the light of day and made so many more people aware of it. What more is there to say except that they are totally awesome manly heroes who deserves every credit they get.

Have watched this show since I was around 6 years old or earlier, and it´s always been my favourite. Now you have realized an over ten years childhood dream to see this uncut and with the quality it deserves, ever since I started to speak English.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart HnG!

P.S. Genshi Shonen Ryu: Yes there is a manga to this called Ryu no Michi, which is divided into this series about Ryu and another one. You should read more in the forum section, on page four you´ll see some scans from it. And of course buy the manga.

You guys behind this torrent really earn all the honour for a great work sharing such anime for the fans!

I myself have bought a Swedish copy of Genshi Shounen Ryu. Unfortunately this anime is cut. Due to some scenes which Swedish government mean that they’re too gruesome for children. Therefor they released a Swedish version of Genshi SHounen Ryu. I’ve been looking for the Japanese uncut version. But honestly I don’t have the budget for it. The shipping and the DVDBOX cost ridiculously much. BUt in time I plan to buy it. It is something you should own and show your children. Great Anime and education for good MOrals in our twisted world!

THank you very much all you guys who seeds and leech! Not least those who uploaded this ANime!

    23. DeXeSs says:

Just finished watching this. Thank you so much for seeing it through. I didn’t check previous posts but I’m sure the repeated blinding of the Tyranno was mentioned. :P

      Thanks again, so awesome.

    24. Aseeker says:

Hi. Thanks for this series. The plot is totally strong and dramatic, which makes so interesting. A typical 70s anime. I really enjoyed watching it.
Thanks for this one and thanks for Otokojuku too.
      Bye.
