Um, I have a question for loverofhokuto:
A while back you mentioned that you were hoping to sub the new HnK Anime named “Hokuto no Ken Raoh Gaiden: Ten no Haoh”.
I know you are currently working on SnK so im not expecting you to pick up another series until its done, but will you still release Ten no Haoh ?
And if so will you be releasing it in HD? (I see 720p RAWs floating around the net)
Im just asking cos i see a group has picked it up but i want to know if i should wait for your awesome releases :D

We might do Raoh Gaiden – Ten no Haoh, only:
1. After the SnK anime series is finished.
2. If another group hasn’t done a decent job on it.
3. If our translator is still interested.
4. If we use the highest quality raws because our goal is to bring you guys top quality ;)
Now, I’m not promising anything 100%, so please don’t plead us for this anime. The only thing I can say with certainty is that the team and I are too swamped with trying to get out SnK (manga and anime) as fast as we possibly can to take on anything else now.
As for the other group/s you mentioned, I have a feeling that they’re only a one episode wonder. Why you ask? Because I’m pretty sure they just swiped, re-timed, and then hard subbed that anonymous sub file which was released a few days ago. I really hope I’m wrong on this, because it would be nice to at least have a translation for the moment.
Well I can assure everyone that most likely you don’t have to worry about #3 ;) .
I looked up the sub version, and it’s not exactly the most quality thing. It was only after the OP when I confirmed that it wasn’t just a raw mistakenly put up as a sub. In other words, no karaoke, no sub credits… it might be just like LoH said. Also, it isn’t on any major torrent trackers. (I found a sub version on TokyoTosho, but I recognized that one of the sub groups that released as having done another one episode wonder.)
But basically… we might get it done only if you guys are patient enough to wait for us to do it. Enjoy SnK for now. The manga’s been moving along steady, and the anime will pick up the pace soon. 13’s pretty close to finishing, and I’ve almost finished translating up to 16. I can assure you guys that there’s some hot action (in more ways than one) coming up soon ;) .

Just FYI– the hardsubbed KKK group version is NOT the same as the separate subs, it is vastly inferior *see the ‘sky will laugh’ part when motorcycle thugs come upon Raoh walking*.
The seperate subs are way better/make more sense, but still seem a little off to me (and I’m in no position to complain of course since I can’t translate)/ Just my two cents, hope this helps…

To be honest, I only saw the raw of the first episode because I’ve been too busy with SystematicChaos’ super fast Hokuto slapping translations one after the other :P
Anyways, if the episode is as bad as SystematicChaos said, then we’ll most definitely bring a nicer version out in the future. Hokuto needs to be treated well after all. That being said, if those guys make more, then I think we can all agree that they’ll deserve our thanks.
