LoverOfHokuto(Avatar)Here’s chapter 132 (SnK manga): MediaFire

    “ATATATATATATATATATA”
    Need I say more?
    Enjoy!

PS: We still urgently need Japanese – English Translators, so step up men!

PPS: Now, having acquired the Otokojuku Japanese box set thanks to you good folks, we urge you to help us get our mitts on the Bobobo DVD raws too. We would, of course, like to do this without asking for your generosity again, so if you have them please provide them because this box set is really expensive.

      thank you!

    2. Sonofsamson says:

      Thanks.

So presumably then, The Big Bird of Death guy, his style later developed into Rei’s Nanto Sui Cho Ken style?

And the other Souten villian, the guy who was always getting laid, his style was the early form of Shin’s Nanto Koshuu Ken?

I had assumed all the Nanto styles were at least several centuries old, and not recent creations and off shoots of Hokuto styles?

    3. SystematicChaos says:

This guy’s actually not Nanto Seiken at all, it’s Kyoku Juji Seiken. It has nothing to do with Nanto Seiken (except that they look a bit similar). And the guy who always got laid was another branch of Hokuto Shinken, nothing to do with Nanto.

So, no. Nanto Seiken hardly even shows up in SnK. I have no clue where you got that idea.

    4. Sonofsamson says:

I don’t know. I had assumed since virtually all the Nanto Seiken styles involve slicing and piercing attacks, these were somehow connected. Bird of Death guy is using a new style his master created, specifically to be used against Hokuto Shin Ken. The sex fiend guy was using a new style he created, to defeat his own father. Since both styles were new, I’d assumed maybe they were the origins of some of the styles showcased in Hokuto No Ken.

    5. KSMLM says:

@Systematic Chaos – Hardly at all? So it does actually appear full stop? Is it mentioned at some point?

They were obviously going for bringing back memories of Rei and Nanto with Liu Fei Yan and his style, so I wonder why they didn’t use Nanto Seiken. He’s a cool character none the less though, and actually seems like a more powerful fighter than Rei.

Maybe they clear it up at some point.

    6. SystematicChaos says:

Well if you think about it… if there were any Nanto Seiken users in SnK, most likely they’d end up being killed by Kasumi Kenshiro. Then there’d be no one to pass down the art to the next generation.
And then, to quote Metal Gear Solid 3: “Snake, you’ve created a time paradox!”

The only martial arts that appear in both Hokuto no Ken and Souten no Ken are Hokuto Shinken and Hokuto Ryuken (called Ryukaken in SnK), and I’m pretty sure they’ll explain how Ryukaken survives.

I think some minor practitioners of Nanto Seiken show up once or twice, but none of the Nanto Roku Seiken, and none of them are major characters.
