Another Important Announcement: We at Hokuto no Gun are NOT taking requests to subtitle anime until further notice! All our projects have been initiated by what HnG staff want to do, and we’ve got five anime projects and a bunch of manga projects either in progress or planned, and we all have lives and can’t dedicate our time to a million projects. So if you want someone to sub Fuma no Kotaro or Gold Lightan or whatever crap we don’t care about, take it to some other group. Not here. This is FINAL.

And I’ve noticed those raws already, in fact they’re the ones we’re using as working raws. However, they’re not in very good quality; they’re interlaced in places and severely pixellated in others. Here at Hokuto no Gun we strive to bring you quality, so we’ll settle for no less than the DVD VOBs.
I do mean the anime movie just to clear things up:)
I do agree, but if you couldn’t come up with the best raws. those will do. I’ll be happy either way because your subbing them.

Yeah, I figured you meant the anime movie (though I personally wouldn’t mind doing the live-action one… it can’t be worse than live-action Fist of the North Star).
Anyway, we could use those raws I guess, but we won’t be too hasty with our decision. We’ll wait and see if anyone provides the VOBs.

Just got done watching both eps. well done guys very cool. can’t wait for the rest. The subs were much better then those other shitty subs the other group did.

So I guess this means you still won’t be doing the Ten no Haoh anime since it’s not on the project page?
Anonymous- The Ten no Haoh anime has been licensed by Sentai Filmworks in America, and have released both a subtitled and dubbed version on DVD. We at Hokuto no Gun generally would like our fans to support the official licensed version. Exceptions exist for a special case like Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo, where the dub is radically different from the original version and no translation of the original is available, not to mention that the DVD releases have been discontinued.
So, no Ten no Haoh from HnG. If you want it, buy the DVD. If you can’t buy it from where you are, you’ll have to be creative.
