EDIT: Commenter Gorfiril rightfully pointed out that this chapter is not up to the HnG standard, so after reviewing the material I’ve decided to put this project on hold until we can find a solution around this problem. In the meantime, please enjoy this draft, which will be revised in future.
PS: If some of you have noticed that SnK and Rei Gaiden haven’t been coming out as quickly as of late, that’s because I’ve got a lot of real life obligations and I’ve upped my workload significantly by taking on 2 new manga projects. This unfortunately won’t change anytime soon either. On the flip side though, you guys are going to be getting to see 4 different Hokuto stories get released at reasonable speeds.
PPS: Still no word from the French group regarding Kinnikuman. I’ll make a post as soon as I hear something.
To me it looks like it could end up being a decent manga, it looks like it has potential. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see how it ends up turning out.
It does seems to have some potential, also you can never go wrong with Juuza. While his design isn’t really as cool as his past Robert Redford form, I do hope that the manga makes use of his supposedly incredibly broken skills and his ability to twist human bodies as if they where tissues.
There’s a Jyuuza Gaiden too?! Bring it on!!

Is it just me or do the raws of Juuza Gaiden flipin suck? Don’t get me wrong Juuza is the original HnK playa, lol, and the story is superb but the visuals absolutely suck! It’s like a third copier-copy of a weekly release in “the Nihon!” As I’m not one to complain without proposing a solution, if I can manage to reasonably acquire a copy Juuza Gaiden vol. 1 and scan the whole book can someone in this fine scanlation group ^.^ fix this travesty?

The only thing I saw wrong with the raws of chapters 1 and 2 of this manga was they were scanned very crooked. Other than that I didn’t see anything wrong with it. I would’ve fixed the crookedness but I forgot about it and already cropped and cleaned them so it was already too late to redo it. The raw of chapter 3 looked alot better though. By the way, chapter 3 looks very boring, it looks like a bunch of mindless chatter with no action.
the action scenes it was real hard to tell what was going on in a few spots (and not for a good reason I don’t think)…pretty mediocre first chapter imo

I hate to say it, but you’re right. After checking it again, I have deduced that it is too dark, crooked and really not up to the HnG standard! I think I’m going to hold off releasing another chapter until we get a tankobon, unless someone thinks they can do a better job with the original R-P raws. Sorry for not double checking this as I usually do, but I’ve been quite swamped with real life so it slid by my detectors. This will definitely not happen again because we really are very particular about producing quality.
PS: If you get the tankobon, please send it my way (unless I get it first).
The first manga looks great i think the quality is good enough,it is better than wait months to see a translation.If yuo can make a release considering that the rw 2 and 3 are available it would be great to see a translation of the chapters in text.
I think this manga will be great with a character like Jyuza.
Among HNK new mangas this is the one i’m looking forward to see even if Toki is great.
I find Rei manga a little bit dull even if Rei looks awesome and better than ever.

I meant if you can’t make the release due to quality issues it would be nice to see a translation of the next chapters in text,if you already have them of course.
IMO if you own the translations it makes no sense to keep them secret just cos you can’t find anyone to make a release in the optimal standards it should be.

We’re not going to do it now, so you wanting us to release it (or the translation) ain’t going to happen. And if that doesn’t convince you, here are some more reasons:
1) The raws are very bad, and there’s only been 3. Also, chapter 4 hasn’t come out yet even though it came out in Japan.
2) I’ve only got chapter 2 (not chapter 3) translated, so I prefer to use the translator to do some of the other stuff we need doing.
3) We at HnG want to release quality, so we will be waiting for the tankobon.
4) I’m very busy as is, and it takes me much longer to check things when we’re using bad raws. Bottom line, it’s too much hassle for the cleaner, the editor and me.
5) There’s no way we’re going to release text translations for obvious reasons (not to mention respect for the translator), so don’t ask us again.
There’s really nothing more to say than stay tuned for the tankobon.
Well if you need help to speed up just say it.

By the way did you see the manga kumo no keiji.I have the mangas.They are pretty good.
