Rest in Peace Izmoo
It is with great sadness that I announce that Izmoo, an active member of the HnK French forums such as Hokuto Legacy and Son of Hokuto (and even a causal member of HoM), died two days ago. I must admit it came as a shock to me because I was in communication with him fairly recently, so the whole experience seems somewhat surreal to say the least. What makes matters worst is that he was young and the cause of death seems like something which could have been avoided. He was a very active scanlator amongst the French HnK community and he even had his own blog Mega-Izmoo in which he shared the HnK series, the new HnK movies, the HnK manga, and other anime/manga in the French language. Lastly, the HnK community is like another type of family to me, and his association with fansubs/scanlations brings things much closer to home. My condolences to his family, and may he rest in peace.

That’s terrible– totally know what you mean, its like, he was into something that has brought us so much joy, so obviously he had not only good taste, but actually ACTIVELY promoted it. Its really such a shame, and even though the family will probably never see this, my condolences as well. I’m sure he will be missed by many, and not to take away any seriousness or anything, I light a funeral pyre as Kenshiro did for Rei….Goodbye Izmoo
Rest in Peace Izmoo, your legend will never fade. I also send my condolences to Izmoo’s friends and family.
Anyone with the passion and expertise to actively share HNK with the world deserves nothing but our admiration and respect. Izmoo was but a small flame to spread the fire of HNK yet his death makes the fire burn a little less bright. I never knew him yet I feel a very personal loss and this speaks volumes about how sacred we all hold HNK and those with the talent and drive to share it.
I give my condolences to his family and his friends, who knew him personally, as I say Rest in Peace “With No Regrets” and goodbye Izmoo. I pray others with your talent become inspired to carry on your legacy.

Tragic news, indeed. I’m greatly saddened to hear this news. My thoughts and best wishes to his family & friends.
