Kinnikuman? In my Youtube? It’s more likely than you think.
Those of you who have been around for a while remember an incident in which Youtube user KinnikumanLegacy uploaded episodes of Kinnikuman subbed by HnG Muscle Subs without our permission. We do not want Kinnikuman uploaded to Youtube, because with Toei Animation so protective of their property, this unwanted attention could lead to an end to Kinnikuman translations. We threatened to cancel Kinnikuman until the videos were taken off Youtube, and in an excellent act of internet vigilantism, you all spammed his channel telling him to take Kinnikuman episodes off his channel. And it worked.
Well folks, that time has come upon us yet again, as not one, but two people have been uploading Kinnikuman! Users Ettyrj and epserbaddazz2 have been uploading our fansubs to Youtube without our permission! It’s time to take arms once again, because I have no choice but to stall Kinnikuman indefinitely until these episodes are off Youtube!
With that said, check below for the latest release of SnK, we’re in desperate need of translators, and don’t forget to read the About and FAQ page.
EDIT: esperbaddazz2 only has to remove our subs of Kinnikuman. I don’t care if he leaves the Ultimate Muscle dubs up.
EDIT2: Ettyrj seems to be moderating the comments on his channel, making them easy to ignore, so go for his videos too! Rate them down, post comments, etc.!
EDIT3: esperbaddazz2 has apologized and removed the videos, so cut out the spam to his channel.
EDIT4: The crisis is averted! Ettyrj has removed the videos! Kinnikuman is back on as scheduled!
Hope you guys will get those people to stop what they are doing.
These people are idiots. That Ettyrj guy has links to all of his channels under his videos – All of them subbed, all very easily targeted by the copyright police.
One of those guys didn’t have but one Kinnikuman episode up there, unless more appear when you ‘subscribe.’

I don’t want to have to go through this, but we can’t let this draw Toei’s attention or it could mean the end for Kinnikuman translated to English.

okey guys lemme just say that I apologize for uploading your subbed episodes of Kinnikuman without your permission, I was in no way trying to draw unwanted attention to your site. I took procautions to cut out the opening as well as commercial break credits with your sites name on it to keep you guys outof TOEI’s eye, but I didnt think you guys would spam my channed if I did that but now I see. But if the fans have spoken I guess it must be done, I just only hope you get in contact with Ettyrj because he’s been M.I.A. since he uploaded those episodes with your name all on them, but anyways oce again I apollogize to you and all the fans of Kinnikuman.
Thanks for your apology. We understand that you weren’t trying to draw attention to us. We also figured it wouldn’t be in either of our best interests to report your channel, so I’m glad we were able to settle it like this.
I appreciate the measures taken to remove the site names and everything, but considering we’re the only people fansubbing Kinnikuman, I doubt the people at Toei would be idiotic enough not to trace it to us.
Yeah thats understandable, I appreciate you guy’s work and the talented team you have doing subs for these great shows, hopefully you get in touch with ettyrj or have his site reported till its suspened because I personally want to view more of your work. I really appreciate you guys informing me though and keep up the good work.

I wonder what so wrong with having your episodes on Youtube?
Even though your episodes are deleted from Youtube by Toei, I find it really hard for Toei to punish you in any way. I mean there are tons of other fansub groups out there that doesn’t received any punishment from any of the Anime owners.
Perhaps Toei could only detele the episodes from Youtube, but bringing trouble to you guys it seems a little too paranoic.

@Kakarot892: You have no idea. I’ve seen fansub groups get slapped with cease and desist orders in the past, and if we ignore them, they could very well do the research and threaten us with legal action. It has happened in the past.
Well, I posted my comment. It was kinda hard trying to write an explanation of the situation without going over the 500 character limit, though.
Sorry, I should have deleted the episodes when I stopped working on the channel because I uploaded the 7 episodes on the day I made the channel and I just gave up right away, and as esper was saying I have been M.I.A this entire time until now
And that also explains why I haven’t approved any of the comments on the channel comments
Is everything resolved or are there still videos that need to be taken down? Just link to them and I’ll try my best to help out.
=) I really appreciate that you guys are translating these episodes. I’ve really enjoyed them and the translations are great. I wish I could give you guys a hand with the translations but alas I know nothing of the Japanese language :C Hopefully I can find a friend or two that might be interested, however.
Also, fellow commenters, please no name calling these people. They didn’t seem to know any better (not everyone knows all these things) and I’m sure they were just trying to share with other fans, though yes they should have asked about it first =) They’ve done their part to resolve the problem, so I think it’s all cool now. I hope.

wait, this is old news, so there’s no new episodes of the subbing anymore? since it went up to episode 56 though.
Yes this is very old news and we’ve released new episodes since then. We’re on episode 54 now and hopefully we’ll eventually do all 137 plus sequels, but we’ve got real lives and a bunch of different projects that we want to get out of the way first. So please, just be patient.
You’re doing a great job! I watched Ultimate Muscle and I love your sub work on Kinnikuman, you guys are the only group online attempting to sub this amazing series. Me and my friend are so impatient’/enjoying the subs we’re tempted to move on to raws once we’re done. Are things still moving along now? I see you guys are on 62, how long does it generally take for new episodes to be produced? Anyway I appreciate all you guys have done already and was very glad to see this isn’t a dead project because for 300 years all I’ll need is this sub.
Glad to see that, at least as of February of last year, that HnG is still working on subs for this show. I just stumbled upon them a few weeks ago and I cannot be more thankful that people are taking the time to sub this show.

Thanks for the hard work. I watched Kinnikuman from TV when I was little and the show suddenly stopped at that time. From time to time, seeing people selling all the eps but unfortunately without the English subs…
