Well, folks, I’m sure something you’ve been wondering in the back of your minds since the beginning of the Otokojuku series is, “who the hell is writing all these books about ridiculous kung-fu moves?” And since it is one of the hallmarks of the Otokojuku series, of course Miyashita had to answer it. Minmeimaru’s already shown up a couple times in both Edajima Den and Akatsuki, but now we get the opportunity to learn the full backstory of one of the few living characters in this manga older than Edajima Heihachi. Now be enlightened and inspired by his tale, then go forth to carry on the torch of learning! And don’t worry, Akatsuki will return next time!
