By the look of things, somebody was trying to channel the forbidden ancient black magic martial art known as Shaq Fu, perhaps the deadliest combination of Basketball, Voodoo, Bajiquan, Muay Thai and 90s Aerobics. Only a select few were properly trained by Sensei O’Neal, which came as a blessing by the time we were commisioned to take part on the Intergalactic Basketball Kumite against the Nazi Venusians from Alpha Centauri. Mofos were fast as lightning, toying with us during most of the game but we would never retreat, never surrender and never be defeated. The loss of eyes and limbs did not stop us from claiming victory by winning the trophy cup and sending those aliens inside a rice cooker via the Mafuba. Little did we knew that Space Lucifer saw our performance as a direct threat to his cosmic real state/conquest plans, kickstarting the Great Martian War.
On other news, I was chilling with Professor Munakata when he told me about an ancient Aztec temple below Gothemburg where ancient eldritch abominations sleep, waiting to burn our planet to ashes. Now while he works on the proper spells to send them to take another 35,000 years nap, I will be enjoying this new Blazing Ninjaman chapter.
